Rail and public transport infrastructures
Cegelec implements solutions which focus on infrastructures and their operation. Its fields of expertise are electrical supply (traction substations, overhead contact lines, low voltage), operating systems (signalling, supervision, communication, security systems) and station equipment (escalators, HVAC, lighting, etc.).
 

 

Road infrastructures, tunnels and waterways
Cegelec offers a whole range of solutions in the area of electrical and mechanical equipement, in information and security systems, both for new structures and for upgrades. Cegelec has its own SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) integration system enabling optimisation of the complete installation and global equipment integration as well as the restriction of technical risk.

 

High voltage substations and lines up to 400 kV
Cegelec can, both on a turnkey or lumpsum basis, deliver and install high voltage substations and lines up to 400 kV for the energy and transport sectors, as well as for the industry. For this purpose, Cegelec has its own engineering department and highly skilled site personnel.

 

Control systems for electrical power stations and T&D
Electrical power stations and transport are at the heart of Cegelec's history.
In Belgium, Cegelec has developed advanced skills in the area of control systems for thermal and nuclear power plants as well as in telecontrol systems and nuclear instrumentation.

 

 

 

Large multi-technical projects
Cegelec positions itself as an assembler - integrator in charge of the design, installation and maintenance of large, public or private multi-technical turnkey projects.
Thanks to a highly diversified range of services, and its ability to integrate, manage and co-ordinate other competencies, Cegelec makes it possible for its customers to get a better performance/price ratio. Cegelec contributes to implement global projects, in particular in the following sectors:

  • Waste water management (purification plant)
  • Domestic waste incineration
  • Energy transportation
