Cegelec is active in the area of control system for nuclear power plant both in its classical part (non security) as in its 1E part (security).
Cegelec has developed a range of control system equipment in 1E qualified version installed for the security and protection of the reactor of a nuclear edge.
This range of equipment 1E exists in non-programmed and in programmed version, respecting the strict standards of 1E nuclear (IEC 880).
Cegelec analyses the location of these classified and non classified equipment in its electrician customers' projects.
Nuclear instrumentation & radioprotection
For more than 30 years, Cegelec has developed a deep experience in the area of nuclear instrumentation and radioprotection.
More specifically, Cegelec equipped the seven Belgian nuclear power plants with neutronic ex-core instrumentation, radioprotection (RMS) and neutronic in-core sensor.
