Cegelec was leader of the ASCACENTRE consortium for the construction of the Strépy-Thieu boatlift, on behalf of the MWET (the Walloon equipment and transport administration) and SOFICO (Société Wallonne de Financement Complémentaire des Infrastructures), between 1996 and 2005, for an amount of about 35 million €.
